This summer, I began the process of looking for braces; who doesn’t want to have straight, pearly-white teeth? I do. I began going down the rabbit hole of all the potential brands — Uniform Teeth, Smile Direct Club, Candid, Invisalign, and then plain old braces. A typical orthodontist can charge you up to $100 before you have even committed to their treatment plan. When I went and signed up, they also gave me a free Quip toothbrush to keep my teeth clean during the process. For me, price matters.

Although I just had to fix some spacing in my smile, Uniform Teeth is able to treat crowding, severe gaps, chipped teeth, and even more complicated cases that require more than just a traditional treatment. Get this, each custom BPA-free plastic aligner takes an estimated 2 hours to 3D print. This is a lot of time this company is spending to make sure that you receive toxin-free aligners. Okay, this part was actually SO comforting. Treatments like this can be scary! If I ever had any questions or concerns all I had to do was message their doctors via their mobile app. I could do this at literally any point in the process and get my questions answered. Traditional offices generally have you schedule appointments with them, which can be very uncomfortable. In addition, no other aligner company offers ease of in-app messaging.
