The word “superfood” usually means “super-well-marketed-and-super-full-of-BS.”
Call me a cynic, but as a millennial and citizen of the internet, I’m so jaded from all of the so-called miracle products I see on social media that I don’t believe anything I see. So a month ago, when I saw my colleague dump a packet of ARMRA Colostrum (a product she found on Instagram) in her mouth, I laughed in her face.
But, after she explained that she’s been battling an autoimmune disease for years and has seen noticeable improvements in her energy, skin, gut health, and hair regrowth from taking ARMRA’s Immune Revival powder, I was interested.
I’ve struggled with thinning hair since I hit 30, and it seems like almost every week I discover a new food that makes my stomach blow up like a whale, so I hit the web to learn more.
I was excited to find an interview with former Miss USA Ali Landry, who said that ARMRA was one of the products that helped her grow her hair back at age 49. But after scrolling through the reviews on ARMRA’s website, I don’t think I’ve ever ordered anything faster.
“What Is It,” You Ask? Apparently, Liquid Gold.
Nope, that’s not a marketing ploy. Colostrum has been coined liquid gold partially because of its golden hue, and partially because it’s a gold mine of nutrients.
Colostrum is the milk that all mammals produce in the first 48-72 hours after giving birth. It’s supercharged with 200+ bioactive nutrients a newborn baby needs to build up its immune system. Colostrum is essential for infants, but to date there are more than 5,000 published studies documenting its ability restore, protect, and enhance immune health and cellular performance at all stages of life.
Intimately familiar with this research, pediatric neurologist Dr. Sarah Rahal set out to make the holistic healing powers of colostrum accessible to everyone. That’s where ARMRA comes in.
The ARMRA Difference
Dr. Rahal spent years building a network of family-owned, hormone and antibiotic-free dairy farms across the US, ensuring that the excess colostrum their grass-fed cows produce is as pure and nutritious as possible. At the same time, she developed a low-heat extraction process that preserves the potency and bioavailability of the nutrients while removing the stuff people don’t need, like casein and fat.

ARMRA’s Immune Revival powder is available in a few different options. Choose between single-serving sticks or bulk jars, and three flavors: Unflavored, Blood Orange, and Vine Watermelon. While the Unflavored option contains only one ingredient (pure ARMRA Colostrum), every flavor is free of artificial sugar, GMOs, soy, gluten, fat, preservatives, binders, and junk.
I got the Discoverer Bundle—which includes the Unflavored bulk jar and Blood Orange sticks—and scored free shipping. I also optimistically signed up for the subscription and got 30% off my first order. It arrived in a few days.
Taste Test Time
My colleague said she “straight shoots it” by pouring it onto her tongue because it has more benefits for your mouth and throat than mixing it with water.
That seemed like a bit much for my first try, so I decided to mix one of the Blood Orange sticks into a glass of cold water (note: warm liquids can destroy some of the nutrients’ effectiveness). I used a coffee frother to mix it, and was delighted to find that it was natural-tasting and not too sweet.

There’s no limit to the amount you can take, and I read that most people take 2-4 servings a day, so that afternoon I decided to go for it and dump a serving of the Unflavored powder on my tongue. I don’t know why I was expecting the worst, but it tasted delicious, like cream. The powder clumped up a bit in my mouth, but a quick sip of water washed it down. Easy peasy.
I’m not gonna lie, I had high hopes, but low expectations. Even though I did my research, read the reviews, and a trusted colleague told me firsthand how well ARMRA Colostrum worked for her, I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea of a product that actually does what it says it will. But, I wanted it to work, so I took two servings a day for 30 days straight.
Here’s What Happened
You can’t even begin to comprehend how thrilled I was when I started to notice a difference in my hair. At first I thought I was imagining things, but a month later, I can’t argue with the proof. For the first time in years, my hair feels thicker and looks noticeably healthier and shinier. I even started to notice some baby hair growth, so I’m excited to see the progress six months from now.

ARMRA has also done wonders for my digestion. I didn’t have a single “bad stomach” day the whole month. No pain, gas, or visible bloating. I even tried out some foods that notoriously upset my stomach, like cruciferous vegetables and gluten, and they passed the no-bloat test with flying colors.
Those two reasons were all the proof I needed to keep taking ARMRA, but I experienced a few unexpected “side effects” too. First, I noticed a change in my sleep. I was sleeping deeper and waking up less frequently, which had a ripple effect of positive outcomes. I started waking up with so much energy, I slowly cut down on my coffee and pre-workout intake. On top of that, my skin was noticeably more clear, bright, and bouncy, and I started to depend less on my concealer as the month went on.

Last but not least, I started my ARMRA journey during the months of April and May, aka peak allergy season on the East Coast. I usually have to work from home in the spring because my allergies get so bad I distract my coworkers, but this year, I barely had any symptoms. Now that was a feat.
It seemed insane to me that a single product could have such a wide range of benefits—until I learned how it actually impacts your body.
So How Does It Work?
Instead of treating a specific symptom, ARMRA supports whole body foundational health. It strengthens the immune barriers, enhances cellular performance, and equips your body with the nutrients it needs to do everything it should be doing as well as it can.
In the modern world, this includes defending against the extremely harmful toxins, pollutants, pesticides, pathogens, chemicals, medications, and processed ingredients we all ingest on the daily—all while helping the body better absorb good bacteria. It’s kinda like a suit of armor for your insides.
Colostrum is not some miracle formula or supplement blend, it’s a pure, potent, whole food, with seemingly endless reported and clinically-studied benefits:
- Fortified gut health and improved digestion
- Enhanced skin radiance and hair growth
- Improved mood, focus, and energy
- Strengthened immunity
- Sleep support
- Boosted metabolism
- Optimized athletic performance
- Relief from allergy symptoms
After experiencing some of these firsthand, I now understand why ARMRA has thousands of enthusiastic reviews from customers of all ages.

If It Seems Too Good To Be True, It Almost Always Is. Almost.
I thought I’d seen it all, but for the first time ever, a product that seemed too good to be true was actually better. This stuff makes me feel like a superwoman, so suffice to say, I’m keeping my subscription. I switched to bi-monthly deliveries of just the Unflavored bulk jar, as I found it more versatile.
I will say, I was hesitant to keep up the subscription given the price point. However, when you break it down, the Unflavored bulk jar is 91 cents a serving, or just over $100 for 120 servings. Since I only take two servings a day, a single jar will last me closer to two months.
Considering ARMRA Colostrum does the work of my whole medicine cabinet of vitamins, prebiotics, probiotics, allergy meds, collagen, greens powders, and more, it’s actually saving me money…but that’s the least exciting thing about it.
