It’s Not Just a First-Aid Kit!
For years I’ve had a first-aid kit tucked away in my closet for any cuts and bruises that may come along. I felt like that was enough emergency preparedness for my family. After seeing the JUDY Kits all over Instagram, I realized I was so wrong.
After seeing JUDY everywhere, I decided to get the Mover Max. I have a family of four and we live in Florida, so we evacuate frequently due to hurricanes. The Mover Max will support my whole family for 72-hours in the case of an emergency. After seeing what comes inside, I couldn’t believe I thought my little First-Aid Kit was enough.
Inside My New Emergency Kit
There are tools in my JUDY kit that I would’ve never thought of, like a hand-crank radio, glow sticks, quick-dry towels, a multi-purpose tool, KN95 Masks… the list goes on! I have so many supplies for warmth, safety, and first-aid. Plus, there are mini-meals and water packets that have a 5-year shelf life that support a family of 4.
Using My JUDY
About two weeks after receiving my new emergency kit, my family got hit with a tropical storm. We didn’t have to evacuate, but we did lose our power, experienced flooding, and had trees/branches that fell across the streets. At first, we panicked, but then I remembered that we have our JUDY Kit. Here’s how our kit helped us in this storm:
- The hand crank radio allowed us to listen for alerts.
- One of our windows cracked from the wind, so we used the duct tape to seal the windows.
- Our neighbors came over to shelter with us, and we had an extra set of phone batteries for them in our JUDY.
- We used the glow sticks and the flashlight for light.
- Luckily we didn’t need the food and water, but we were relieved to have them just in case.
Where has JUDY been for my whole life?
I don’t know how I’ve survived so many hurricane seasons without a JUDY Kit. This is by far the best purchase to make sure my family is safe and prepared for anything that comes our way.
Don’t wait until it’s too late to be prepared, you never know when disasters can strike!
