Cadence was born to solve that problem and Steph did not settle for anything less than than perfection. The final version of Cadence’s capsules is the result of over 200 prototypes, so you can be sure they thought of everything.
In short, Cadence just works. Period. The magnetic capsules are leak proof, air tight, and super cute too. They’re made using recycled, ocean-bound plastic waste that is turned into a sturdy, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe material so they can be used again and again. Cramming Cream Into My Cadence Capsules
I’ll admit it, I was a little concerned when reading that the TSA-compliant capsules were .56oz, but when they showed up they were a little bigger than I was expecting-and they fit WAY more than I ever could have imagined. Plus, the wide-mouth opening makes filling them easy-as-can-be.
Initially, I was expecting to use these only for my serums, masks, and oils, but after filling the first one, I was confident that I would be able to use the capsules for my lotions and shampoo as well! Each capsule fits about 15 pumps of product, which is more than enough for a long weekend away.
Carpe-ing the Diem With Cadence
My favorite part about my Cadence Capsules is that there are no sharp edges or corners, none. That means I can throw them in my purse and not worry about them scratching my phone screen. It also means that I can easily get ALL of the product out of the capsule with ease (even with my chubby-stub fingers)!
My aforementioned chubby fingers are also notoriously clumsy and I drop and fumble things all the time. So when I realized the Cadence lids magnetically stick to the capsules, I knew I would be using them for a whole lot more than just traveling (hello, hiking buddy).

Am I actually OCD? I don’t know. I do know that I have used Cadence Capsules to completely re-organize a ton of areas in my life though. After I got home from that trip, I couldn’t stop using them. I still use the lighter set every morning and the darker set every night to keep my skincare routine organized. I use it as a vitamin caddy, since I like to wait until after I eat lunch to take my vitamins. Cadence makes it easy to grab one capsule and take my daily vitamins with me.
I keep a set at the office with some essentials too, like lotion, lip balm, eye cream, safety pins, and Skittles (the .56 oz size helps keep me honest). There are a few in my purse at all times for my anxiety cream (Cadence Capsules are a purse-friendly size), prescriptions (easier access and more discreet), hair ties, and a few empties — just in case — which I usually stash my jewelry in when I go to the gym!
